Patented
extruded 6005AT61 structural aluminum rails and PVC plastic capping
form together for the ultimate smooth tracking surface. Over time
other manufactured precision track develop nicks and bumps and the
rails become unusable. With the G I track PVC cap system, this is
no longer a problem. If the cap gets damaged, simply replace it
at a fraction of the cost.

I track's (I beam construction) sections come complete with PVC
capping. Aluminum rails are anodized black to minimize reflections
and are available in 8, 4 and 2 foot sections. Cross member ties
can be custom made for various dolly
or crane track widths.

Patented extruded PVC plastic capping available in 2, 4, 8 and 16
foot lengths.
Offsetting the plastic capping 2” from the track
connections provides a smooth, seamless join.
Stainless steel male and female ends ensure a positive and durable
connection.
Knurled nut tension adjuster on latch for connecting track sections
together.
Cross member ties are fastened (a) vertically and (b) horizontally
(two axis) to rails for added strength and rigidity. Ties can be custom
made for different track widths to accommodate various camera dolly
and crane tracking wheel configurations.
The design of (two axis) mounted cross member tie allows wedges to
be cribbed only from the inside making a clear path on the outside
rails of the track.
Long length track setups require minimal cribbing. Picture illustrates
support cribbing and wedges required only at joins and midsection
of track.
Latches are mounted on the outside of G I tracks rails ensuring a
positive (in line) connection instead of the traditional method of
latches mounted on the cross member ties. Latches that are out of
the way allow the dolly grip and camera assistant the ability to walk
either on cross member ties or along side the track free from obstruction.
Cables no longer get hung up on latch handles.
